OS X 10.5.8 on Lenovo IdeaPad S12
I was very disappointed with the Acer netbooks. They felt cheap and weren’t very OS X friendly. I decided to shell out the extra cash and try a Lenovo (former IBM) netbook. The difference is huge. You can see and feel the quality all over. It feels more durable and the keyboard on it is great. It’s definitely worth paying a premium price for a better product. Anyways, here is OS X 10.5.8 running on the Ideapad S12.

Hey nice work! I was looking at the S12 with hopes of doing the same it seemed like a sweet setup with the little bit larger size! Would you be willing to share more info about how you got it going? What version did you use to install etc. – What specs are the s12 you are running? Thanks
I will try to do a write up when I have some time.
That Would be Much Appreciated!
Thanks

I’ve used iPC before too, but I have switched to Snow Leopard since.
Hey,
I used the retail disc with IdeaPad S10 Enabler installed onto it. I used an USB stick. Just google “S10 enabler”. Oops, that was for Snow Leopard. 10.5.6 wasn’t stable on the S12.
Cheers,
Tom
