Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on my new PC setup
It’s fast! Very!

Iz a nize! I wanted to upgrade to a faster video card to play Crysis on high settings. This is a good value card. Now I’m waiting for a motherboard with PCI-E 2.0 support so I can use the card’s full speed. My current motherboard only supports version 1.0 of PCI-E. SiSoft Sandra shows that the card is performing a bit slower than it should be with this motherboard. I’m also hoping to get it working with Snow Leopard. Anyways, here it is below!
Yes, it’s possible with blackra1n. It’s not perfect, but it works. If you ever let the battery die you have to run the program again to boot it up. Hopefully a full jailbreak will come out within few weeks.
My friend from Poland came for a short visit. He got a hold of an iPhone 3G for free from a family member. I helped him to get it ready for when he goes back home. It will work with his local SIM card. Don’t they look nice?
It seems like someone accidentally unplugged the PII laptop in the basement running the website. It went to sleep and the battery held its charge so it’s back up again. Uptime of 82 days. Not bad!
I was very disappointed with the Acer netbooks. They felt cheap and weren’t very OS X friendly. I decided to shell out the extra cash and try a Lenovo (former IBM) netbook. The difference is huge. You can see and feel the quality all over. It feels more durable and the keyboard on it is great. It’s definitely worth paying a premium price for a better product. Anyways, here is OS X 10.5.8 running on the Ideapad S12.
